Steamboat Inn, the beloved resort in the heart of the Umpqua National Forest, will once again welcome guests to its lodging and restaurant on March 13th. The Inn is located on Hwy 138, 38 miles east of Roseburg and approximately 2 hours from Eugene, Bend, and Medford and features suites, cabins, cottages and houses.
Spring is the best time to visit and explore the stunning waterfalls nearby. The forest will soon be awash with spring flowers, and Steamboat Inn rhododendrons in full bloom from May through June.
Whether fly-fishing, hiking throughout the extensive trail systems, making a day trip to nearby Crater Lake, or unwinding on the balcony overlooking the Umpqua River, the Inn offers many ways to relax and enjoy nature.
Guests will be able to eat their meals in the restaurant’s indoor dining space when safety regulations allow, in the outdoor dining space, in their room, or on their balcony. Steamboat is currently offering room service delivery to guests staying in the suites and cabins for no additional cost.
