Celebrate National Lighthouse Day at Heceta Head Lightstation

Join the Keepers of Heceta Head Lightstation on August 7th from 11am to 3pm for National Lighthouse Day. Tour the Interpretive Center in the Keepers House, enjoy live music from the Foghorns on the lawn, free cookies and sodas and see the inside the of the Lighthouse!

Noelle Windesheim, Trailkeepers of Oregon, Central Coast Stewardship Coordinator will be onsite with information about the Central Oregon Coast trails. Be sure to stop and learn about existing trails and future trail plans. The gift shop will also be open from 10am to 6pm. There may be whale sightings and there is lots of new food and drink to try in the gift shop.

Public parking is in the Fee Parking lot of the Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint. A beautiful walking trail leads you right to the keeper’s House, gift shop and lighthouse!
