A
classic bed and breakfast boutique inn, West End Guest House provides
intimate accommodations within Vancouver’s dynamic center. Built
when Vancouver was just 20 years old, the Edwardian-era home is
one of the last early homes in the City. Its builders were a family
of professional photographers, and innkeeper Evan Penner features
an important collection of their work throughout the Inn. Celebrating
the lost historic homes of Vancouver’s West End, the innkeeper
commissioned an artist to paint wall murals of houses once in
the neighborhood. Penner’s guest house is truly a special retreat
within a major city.

Breakfasts are a 5 or 6 course event served family style. For
the international diner, Vancouver’s best restaurants are a short
walking distance. The Inn’s well-stocked complimentary pantry
is available 24 hours. Sherry is served in the parlour; iced tea
on the sundeck on summer afternoons.
