Carlton Hotel, built in 1929, attracted the attention of vintner
David Weyrich and two friends, David Crabtree and Steve Landaker.
The trio more than exquisitely restored it, they amplified and
enhanced it – from handcrafted ironwork for the central staircase
to meticulous moldings in the Library. Today, The Carlton features
luxurious rooms and suites and is a culinary destination in itself,
embracing the eclectic local wine region with unique dining experiences
including the Restaurant & Grill with exhibition kitchen and
